Work you'll do
The Network Sensor Analyst will apply intelligence analysis and operational planning skills to monitor, assess, and report on cyberspace operations. This includes identifying potential threats to critical assets and networks, and supporting US Intelligence Community and Interagency grid network sensor portfolios. The Network Sensor Analyst will also be responsible for operating and maintaining Threat Hunt incident response kits to include developing improvements to kit capabilities and functionality and deploying intrusion detection sensors in customer environments.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $109,000 to $182,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

Qualifications
Required:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related technical field
- 6 years of experience network security architecture and cybersecurity operations/analysis, including incident response, forensic analysis, and malware analysis/reverse engineering
- Experience supporting cyber networks for a federal government client
- Experience working with network data and employing virtual and physical grid network sensors, supporting defensive cyber operations
- Certification: DoD IAT III
- Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain polygraph
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a technical field
- Experience building extended cyber security analytics
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
