Position : PIV ID Media Specialist
Location : Des Plaines IL
The successful candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree
7 years' experience
Experience working Microsoft Office
Experience working Microsoft Outlook and Skype
Experience with using web applications.
Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively deal with customers and diffuse potential problems.
Must have good organizational skills, be detail oriented, and able to meet agency and customer deadlines.
Job Description
Verify and document identity source documents, assist applicants with forms, conduct fingerprinting and photographing, collect and provide investigative forms, enter information into identification media systems, and manage the PIV office independently.
Validate authorization for ID card issuance, issue ID cards, notify applicants, verify identity using biometric fingerprints, and provide information on safeguarding and reporting lost/stolen IDs.
Assist other Personnel Security Specialists, visit client regional facilities for PIV II ID card rollout, prepare reports for leadership, conduct initial name check reviews for HR, upload fingerprints, track clearance statuses, monitor training reminders, assist with re-investigations, run reports, manage contractor and employee re-investigations, monitor shared mailboxes, process VAPs, and perform additional duties as directed by the Division Manager.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, 7 years of experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Skype, experience with web applications, strong verbal and written communication skills, good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
