Information Security Analyst
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Information Security Analyst to join our cybersecurity team.
The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in Office tools, particularly Excel for security reporting and analysis, experience with ITSM tools, and strong knowledge of identity and access management solutions, including SailPoint and Delinea (formerly Thycotic).
This role is critical for ensuring the organization's security posture and safeguarding sensitive data against potential threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and report security metrics using advanced Excel features such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
- Utilize ITSM tools to manage security incidents, track changes, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Administer and optimize identity and access management tools, including SailPoint and Delinea, to ensure proper access controls and least-privilege principles.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, including unauthorized access attempts, system vulnerabilities, and policy violations.
- Perform regular audits of user access rights and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security policies, procedures, and controls.
- Prepare detailed security reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and management.
- Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and tools to proactively recommend improvements to the security framework.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with ITSM tools in a security operations context.
- Solid understanding of identity and access management, with expertise in SailPoint and Delinea (Thycotic).
- Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess security risks and recommend actionable solutions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or certifications in SailPoint/Delinea.
- Experience with scripting or automation tools to enhance security operations.
- Previous experience in a SOC or similar cybersecurity environment.
