We are hiring a Solution Architect specializing in Azure and Databricks to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative data solutions that leverage Azure cloud services and Databricks to meet business needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of scalable and high-performance data architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect data solutions using Azure cloud services and Databricks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
- Develop technical architecture documentation, including data models, workflows, and integration patterns.
- Lead the implementation of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data engineering best practices.
- Optimize existing data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure and Databricks features and best practices.
- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to standards and governance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure and Databricks environments.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, preferably with a focus on Azure and Databricks.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory.
- Experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake, Spark, and data engineering concepts.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL.
- Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Azure certification (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) is a plus.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
