We are currently seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to be a key resource on a technical services team for our client, Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).
**Location of job: Hybrid. 1 day remote (Mondays) 4 days required to be onsite. Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY.**

This Software Engineer 3 contractor position is part of the Administrative Applications SharePoint team and will be working to develop enhancements and provide support for the Texas client's Legislative Tracking System (LTS) 2.0 Power Platform application. This position will perform Software Engineer/Application Developer duties that will involve the following Power Platform areas: Power Apps Canvas and Model-driven apps, Dataverse, Power Automate Flows for business process automation and Power BI reports.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- 8 years experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environment
- 8 years experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer
- 8 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate technical solutions
- 8 years of Microsoft Power Platform development experience
- 8 years experience with Agile development processes and sprint planning
- 8 years experience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage model
- 8 years experience in design and development of Power BI reports
- 8 years experience developing Power Automate Flows, Desktop Flows, business process flows
- 8 years experience in Dataverse tables and uses
Preferred:
- 3 years experience in Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center
- 3 years of good teamwork skills, and ability to collaborate with other functional and technical staff on the project
- 3 years ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams
- 3 years of communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization
