  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are seeking an Application Developer to join our Electric Technology Solutions Fleet Operations and Trading Portfolio in Birmingham, AL. This role is responsible for developing, integrating, and supporting real-time financial and trading systems that are critical to business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, implement, and support desktop, web applications, and web services
  • Work primarily with Microsoft .NET (C#, WPF, ASP.NET, Blazor, Web API, Entity Framework)
  • Develop and maintain SQL Server/Oracle relational databases
  • Utilize Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap for front-end development
  • Ensure highly accurate and dependable business solutions
  • Collaborate with teams to understand business concepts and processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Math, or Business (preferred)
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in fullstack development
  • Strong knowledge of .NET, SQL (SQL Server, Oracle), and web development
  • Experience with REST APIs, Git, CI/CD (TeamCity, GitHub), and Agile methodologies is a plus
  • Ability to develop intuitive user interfaces for complex data-rich applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Additional Considerations:

  • Supports business-critical financial applications, so limited after-hours/weekend support may be required
  • Limited travel
