Data Governance Consultant at NYC or NJ

We ll trust you to:

• Work on end-to-end data management, data governance, data quality, master/reference data utilizing Informatica IDQ, Axon and MDM tools.
• Collaborate with business, vendors and technical teams to gather requirements around data quality rules and propose the optimization of these rules if applicable, then design and develop these rules within IDQ (Informatica Data Quality) and Axon
• Research external authoritative sources of Reference Data and manage updates to Reference Data sets. Works in conjunction with information owners and technology partners to define and implement key documentation and project deliverables
• Track compliance to Master and Reference Data governance requirements
• Work with key stakeholders to define success, develop supporting metrics and then build visualization and analytics
• Develop and automate resource configuration, test connectivity, job execution and monitoring and perform root cause analysis and exception handling

Need to have:

• Preferring 10+ years of experience using Informatica - Axon, Data Quality and Master/Reference Data
• Experience in Master and Reference Data domains e.g. Customer, Supplier, Account, Product etc.
• Programming experience within Python or C# building data management solutions
• Building automated solutions to integrate with Informatica Axon, Master Data and Data Quality
• Decent experience with SQL and databases

Nice to have:

• Knowledge or experience with reporting tools such as Qlik Sense, Tableau
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science
