PHYSICAL EFFORT
The incumbent is required to be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and operate vibrating tools, such as pneumatic and electric impact wrenches, dollies, hand trucks, mobile hoists, and jib cranes for movement of heavy equipment. The incumbent receives assistance from co-workers in physical movement of heavier equipment or accessories. Work requires sitting, kneeling, crouching, stooping, pulling, pushing, climbing and assuming strained or awkward positions to accomplish work for long periods. May be required to work at high elevations. Work may involve repetitive motion actions in accomplishing certain work.

WORKING CONDITIONS
The incumbent is regularly working under and around heavy equipment. The incumbent may be required to work outdoors and may be exposed to varying weather conditions, as well as grease, oils, fuels, solvents, dirt, dust, hazardous materials and fumes. The incumbent must wear required personal protective safety gear such as earplugs, safety glasses, respirators, hardhats, and safety shoes. Is occasionally exposed to the possibility of receiving cuts, burns, skin irritations, bruises, electric shock and sprains while repairing/ inspecting equipment.

Eyesight. The incumbent must have minimum vision of 20/30 Snellen in one eye and 20/50 Snellen in the other eye, with or without glasses/contact lenses.

Color Perception. The incumbent must be able to distinguish red, green, and yellow colors regardless of position of colors.

Hearing. The incumbent's hearing, with or without hearing aid, must test 15/20 for ordinary conversation in one ear.
