Job Summary

The Digital Marketing Specialist is a key member of the Marketing & Communications team, responsible for developing and executing integrated communication strategies to enhance clients brand image, increase market visibility, and drive business growth. This role requires a creative, results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of digital marketing principles and a passion for storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing:

Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including:

Social Media: Manage social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) by creating engaging content, scheduling posts, monitoring conversations, and analyzing performance.

Content Marketing: Develop and execute content marketing strategies, including blog posts, articles, white papers, case studies, and other relevant content to attract and engage target audiences.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Conduct keyword research, optimize website content and landing pages for search engines, and track SEO performance.

Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising: Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and social media.

Email Marketing: Develop and execute targeted email campaigns, including newsletters, promotional offers, and customer communications.

Website Management: Assist in maintaining and updating the company website, ensuring it is user-friendly, informative, and visually appealing.

Corporate Communications:

Develop and execute public relations strategies to enhance brand reputation and visibility.

Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and industry influencers.

Draft press releases, media advisories, and other communications materials.

Manage media inquiries and coordinate media interviews.

Monitor media coverage and analyze media sentiment.

Plan and execute internal communication initiatives to keep employees informed and engaged.

Contribute to the development of corporate communications materials, such as brochures, presentations, and annual reports.

Support internal events such as training, employee events, or other corporate events.

Marketing Analytics & Reporting:

Track, analyze, and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns across various channels.

Use data and insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve ROI.

Prepare regular reports for management on marketing performance and key metrics.

Project Management:

Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to achieve marketing objectives.

Experience following PM Standards, such as building a project plan including task management, communication management, and risk management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

3-7 years of experience in digital marketing and/or corporate communications.

Proven experience in developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns.

Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Experience with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms.

Proficiency in SEO/SEM and Google Analytics.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired Skills

Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).

Experience with video editing software.

Experience with Mailchimp and Google ad networks

Experience in the construction or building materials industry.
