Position Overview
This Office Manager/Head of Admin is responsible for overseeing the San Francisco office primarily, along with the LA and Chicago offices, and is responsible for overseeing a team of administrative support professionals.
Responsibilities Of The Office Manager/Head Of Admin
- Manage a team of 10+ administrative support professionals.
- Implement office administration and procedures.
- Oversee office enhancements, manage office inventory, vendor relationships, and fire and safety protocols, ensuring adherence to compliance and budget constraints while maintaining a Class A office environment.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure administrative staff comply with policies and procedures.
- Plan and execute annual events, as well as smaller team-building activities and employee wellness initiatives.
- Partner with leadership to manage space planning and optimize office layouts.
- Oversee the onboarding process for all new employees, ensuring a welcoming experience while facilitating administrative support during their transition.
- Lead and mentor administrative professionals, identifying areas for growth and providing continuous coaching and skill development to enhance individual career trajectories and team capabilities.
- Partner with Corporate Real Estate to drive large-scale facility projects, including office moves, redesigns, and workplace enhancements.
- 5 - 7 years as an Office Manager and experience managing a team.
- Strong communication skills and people leadership skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
