UKG Advanced Scheduling Expert
Title: UKG Advanced Scheduling Expert
Location: Onsite/Hybrid in Lowell, MA
Client Industry: Healthcare
Compensation: $50/hr - $80/hr
Duration: 5-month contract role, aligned with the final implementation phases.
We have partnered with our client in their search for a UKG Advanced Scheduling Expert to provide critical user-facing support during the final stages of their UKG implementation. Ideally, you are a clinician (RN preferred) with deep scheduling expertise in a healthcare settings, capable of bridging clinical workflows and technical system functionalities to ensure successful adoption.
Responsibilities
Provide direct support to clinical staff in configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing UKG Advanced Scheduling.
Serve as a liaison between clinical end-users (nursing staff) and technical implementation teams.
Conduct training sessions, develop user support resources, and ensure smooth transitions to the new UKG platform.
Collaborate closely with Nurse Managers, IT, and project teams to address implementation challenges.
Provide real-time, hands-on guidance to users, facilitating strong adoption and proficiency.
Skills Required
Strong knowledge of healthcare scheduling practices and nursing workflows.
Prior experience with UKG Advanced Scheduling system in a healthcare environment.
Clinical background preferred; RN credential strongly desired.
Exceptional communication, training, and user support skills.
Ability to navigate technical and operational aspects of scheduling software and related integrations.
Preferred Skills
- Clinical knowledge, ideally nursing experience, to effectively communicate with healthcare staff.
- Deep understanding of scheduling processes, workflows, and nuances specific to healthcare (staffing ratios, patient acuity, shift rotations, compliance, etc.).
- Technical proficiency with UKG's scheduling tools, enabling effective troubleshooting, configuration, and user training.
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to aid staff in change management
