Cyber Security Engineer

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying, remediating, and hardening IT systems, with a focus on infrastructure solutions. You will work with a variety of technologies and products to ensure the security of storage systems, Windows/Linux servers, VPNs, Windows and MAC endpoints, and mobile devices. This role requires strong consulting experience, including customer-facing interactions, leading client conversations, performing assessments, implementing solutions, and identifying areas of improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience in identifying, remediating, and hardening IT systems.
• Proficiency with infrastructure solutions, including storage, Windows/Linux servers, VPNs, Windows and MAC endpoints, and mobile devices.
• Expertise in CyberArk, CrowdStrike IDP, Absolute Secure Access VPN, Silverfort, Secret Server and DUO.
• Proven consulting experience with customer-facing roles.
• Ability to lead client conversations and perform security assessments.
• Experience in implementing security solutions and identifying areas of improvement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Active Directory and VMware.
• Familiarity with other hypervisors.
• Experience with Cloud IaaS (Azure and AWS).
• Understanding of networking and firewalls.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications, Requirements & Preferred Skills

• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in IT systems.
• Harden infrastructure solutions, including storage, servers, VPNs, endpoints, and mobile devices.
• Utilize products such as CyberArk, CrowdStrike IDP, Absolute Secure Access VPN, Silverfort, Secret Server and DUO.
• Lead client conversations and provide expert consulting services.
• Perform security assessments and implement effective security solutions.
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements to security practices.
• Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, including strong relationship building skills and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to form relationships across all levels of the company while modeling Conversant’s Culture and Values.
• Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce conclusions and responses.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
