Location: Hybrid in Fort Myers, FL
Duration: 6+ Months
Mandatory Skills and Requirements:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university OR at least 7 years of equivalent relevant work experience.
- Work Experience:
- 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in IT work with a focus on network security.
- Strong background in network security architecture, risk management, and threat mitigation.
- Cloud security expertise with hands-on experience in implementing and securing cloud environments.
- On-Call Rotation:
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and perform after-hours work as required to support the security infrastructure.
- Healthcare and HIPAA Compliance (Preferred):
- Experience in a healthcare or HIPAA-compliant environment is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of the specific security and regulatory requirements in a healthcare setting, such as HIPAA regulations.
- Industry Certifications (Preferred):
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), GIAC (Global Information Assurance Certification), Security+, or similar industry-recognized security certifications are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud security architectures for protecting cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate with the network security team to ensure best practices in securing cloud services and infrastructure.
- Perform risk assessments and vulnerability assessments within cloud environments.
- Maintain strong security policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate threats to cloud systems.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure cloud security aligns with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Participate in the security incident response process for cloud-based environments and provide after-hours support as needed.
