Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Kafka Engineer with 9+ years of experience to support our client . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kafka, along with hands-on experience in OpenShift and Kubernetes to manage and optimize enterprise-scale data streaming solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage Kafka clusters in enterprise environments.
  • Implement and optimize Kafka Streams, Connect, and Schema Registry for real-time data processing.
  • Deploy and manage Kafka in OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
  • Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of Kafka-based solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve Kafka performance issues.
  • Work closely with DevOps, application teams, and cloud engineers to streamline Kafka deployments.
  • Implement best practices for Kafka security, compliance, and data governance.
Required Qualifications:
  • 9+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Kafka in large-scale environments.
  • Strong expertise in Kafka architecture, administration, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, and Schema Registry.
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
