Job Title: Data Management Analyst
On Site Work
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:


  • Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Data Management and contribute to large-scale planning related to Data Management deliverables.
  • Review and analyze moderately complex Data Management challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Data Management deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with client personnel in Data Management.
  • This resource will be working on data enablement - sourcing data to support analytical use cases and support enhancement of existing sourced/curated solutions Enhance curated views for Funds Flow dashboard reporting making data available in Dremio (Data virtualization tool)
  • Incorporate Essbase data from FDLZ for reporting
  • Bring in new feeds from Third party vendors (Zoominfo, DnB etc.)
  • Continue to support and make data available for Client Insights use cases
  • Keep WDM aligned with changes on the CRMs
  • Support TAM (Total Addressable Market) process changes for reporting

Required Experience:


  • 4+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Candidates must have experience requirements gathering and data analysis. Needs to be a self-starter who has led requirements sessions.
  • Ideal candidate will be someone who has a strong understanding of the requirements analysis lifecycle, Data analysis, Financial experience and strong foundational RDBMS expertise. The emphasis is on business and data analysis, as opposed to a technology skillset (developers, DBS, etc.).
  • Additional responsibilities may include data management, data lineage/metadata, data controls; experience in data control governance; data defect/issue/deficiency remediation; documenting data flows/process flows
  • Work effort coordination/management experience, current process assessment and improvement experience
  • Experience writing business requirements as JIRA stories
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum & Kanban environments
  • Strong data profiling and data analytics
  • Strong SQL writing experience (joins, unions, sub-queries)
  • Experience understanding pseudo SQL code
