We are seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to join our team, ensuring the successful delivery of software and infrastructure engineering programs and projects. This role requires excellence in planning and executing in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, with strong communication, influencing, project management, and Agile skills being crucial in driving success. Responsibilities:



  • Act as the primary contact for assigned engineering teams, serving as program manager, project manager, or scrum master based on assignments.

  • Lead and oversee multiple programs and projects of various methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban), types, and sizes, ensuring objectives and project deliverables are achieved according to plan.

  • Develop effective working relationships with engineers to guide the team to success.

  • Simplify complex concepts/requirements for the team and stakeholders, aligning them with business objectives.

  • Plan, initiate, and track tasks in Jira.

  • Create and manage all necessary project documentation (e.g., meeting minutes, action items, status reports).

  • Coordinate and facilitate weekly project status meetings, daily standups, and agile ceremonies.

  • Manage the program or project lifecycle from inception to completion.

  • Utilize enterprise project management tools and applications to provide project status and reporting, adhering to PMO processes, documentation standards, and best practices.

  • Prioritize tasks and work streams effectively to achieve department and business goals.

  • Manage risks, issues, track and resolve dependencies, and utilize resources to remove impediments to the team.

  • Collaborate with colleague program, project, and product managers within the organization.


Qualifications:



  • 10+ years of experience leading intricate engineering programs and projects.

  • Strong knowledge of software and infrastructure engineering technologies (compute, storage, network, database, cloud, DevOps, infrastructure as code, front/back-end development).

  • In-depth knowledge of media engineering practices.

  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Clarizen, and ServiceNow.

  • Experience with Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

  • Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and JQL queries.

  • PMP Certification.

  • CSM certification.

  • B.S./B.A. degree in a relevant field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Ability to effectively summarize status and communicate with senior leadership.

  • Adaptable performer who can lead effectively under pressure and through significant change.

  • Willingness to continually learn about new technologies, project management methodologies, and adapt to evolving business and industry needs.

  • Ability to manage multiple programs and projects independently.

  • Familiarity with leading projects within a program structure (reporting up to a program manager, leadership, etc.).

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.

  • Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice.

Additional Details
The base salary range for this position is $60-70/per hour, depending on experience.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
