Project managers are the people in charge of a specific project or projects within a company. As the project manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Project managers might work by themselves or be in charge of a team to get the job done.

Job Description The project manager will be working on E HR project. Duties will include the creation of all necessary project documentation such as business case workbooks, project charters and schedule, biennial operating plans and amendments, requirements gathering, coordination, reporting, planning, researching, coordinating, evaluating project management , developing data conversion & migration plans and implementation strategy. Work with business owners, IT to oversee the solution vendor managing application/data migration efforts, assuring the use of best practices and standards, assisting in the coordination and optimization of HHSC operations and program functions and providing recommendations. The project manager should act as liaison between business users and vendors to provide required information. Works under limited direction with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Need to have EHR domain experience and good to have implementation experience. Good to have technical knowledge about databases, data migration etc.

Position is hybrid. Program will only allow candidates who are within the City of Austin or the surrounding cities. (LOCALS ONLY) 40% travel into the office is required. The tentative workdays are as follows below.
Onsite: Tuesdays-Wednesdays (tentative) this can be subject to change.
Remote: Mondays, Thursdays-Fridays (tentative) this can be subject to change.
Keep in mind that this position will eventually change to Full-time onsite based on the changes given to us.
