We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Groupware Specialist in Tallahassee, Florida. This role involves providing technical expertise in managing and supporting the Microsoft 365 environment within our enterprise system.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with end-users to define business requirements for our next-generation collaborative work tools
Implement, maintain, and support groupware systems based on business requirements
Evaluate and recommend hardware/software solutions based on user needs and business requirements
Provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and promoting selected groupware strategies
Engage actively in engineering and deploying various groupware applications, such as team collaborative computing, internet, wireless access, document sharing, and next-generation messaging clients
Monitor and analyze situations to determine the next steps in assignments
Clearly convey information, both written and verbal, to individuals or groups in various settings
Deliver excellent customer service to clients and customers
Make sound, well-informed, and objective decisions using critical thinking skills and analysis
Adapt to changes, new processes, and new information in response to evolving business needs.
Requirements
Possess a strong background in Customer Service to effectively address user queries and concerns.
Excellent Communication skills to clearly convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
Proficiency in Microsoft tools and software to manage and maintain the groupware systems.
Aesthetic Design skills to create user-friendly interfaces.
Comprehensive knowledge of Internet protocols and services.
Experience in the Implementation and Engineering of IT systems.
Familiarity with Monitoring Tools to track system performance.
Ability to drive Process Improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency.
Skilled in Specification and Programming to develop and modify software applications.
Degree in Computer Sciences or a related field.
Strong Decision-Making skills to make informed choices that benefit the organization.
Experience drafting Business Requirement Documents to guide system development.
Proficiency in Deploying Software Solutions within an organization.
Expertise in Microsoft Exchange and STEP 7 to manage groupware systems.
Experience in System Analysis to identify potential improvements.
Familiarity with Enterprise Systems and their integration with groupware.
Ability to effectively participate in Project Meetings to provide technical advice.
Knowledge of Messaging Systems and their integration with groupware.
Experience with Wireless Access and Associated Hardware.
Knowledge of Groupware systems and their functionalities.
