Description: Our client is currently seeking a Quality Engineer 3

Request: Quality Engineer 3

Work Location: San Antonio, TX

Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. Provides Quality interpretation of requirements. Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities. Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances. Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Works under general direction.

Position Responsibilities:
Analyze engineering documentation to determine process capability and conformance
Perform data analysis of defect trends and present findings and recommendations
Lead projects to identify root cause and eliminate defects and rework
Execute quality build plan changes
Recommend corrective actions to address non-conformances
Perform engineering change review and verification
Continuous improvement of quality engineering processes

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering and/or a Technical discipline
3+ years experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or another regulated industry
3+ years experience applying Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) or other similar rigorous problem/analysis/resolution processes

Education: Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
