Job Description:

Job Summary: As a Junior Salesforce DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the deployment and optimization of Salesforce applications. You will collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure the efficient and smooth delivery of Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation, automation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce projects.

Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the Salesforce development lifecycle.

Monitor and maintain Salesforce environments to ensure performance, security, and reliability.

Provide support for code deployments, configurations, and release management processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments, integrations, and environment configurations.

Assist in implementing version control practices using tools such as Git.

Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Document DevOps processes, workflows, and configuration settings.

Stay current with emerging DevOps tools, trends, and best practices to continuously improve processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

1-2 years of experience in Salesforce development and/or DevOps engineering.

Basic understanding of Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom development.

Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build automation tools (e.g., Jenkins).

Basic scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation tasks.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with Salesforce DX and Salesforce CLI.

Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., New Relic, Splunk) for system performance.

Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, are a plus.
