We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Management Expert to set up a Warehouse Management System (WMS). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of warehouse layout design, material flow, storage systems, and inventory management principles. Warehouse Process Optimization:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (warehouse managers, IT staff, etc.) to gather WMS requirements.

  • Develop and implement optimized warehouse layouts for better space utilization and material flow.
  • Design and implement storage solutions (e.g., racking systems, shelving, AS/RS).
  • Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create detailed layouts.
  • Optimize picking, packing, and shipping processes.
  • Implement lean warehousing principles and methodologies.
Inventory Management & Control:
  • Work with inventory teams to optimize storage and retrieval processes.
  • Develop strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and optimize storage locations.
Project & System Implementation:
  • Lead warehouse planning projects from conception to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Configure and customize the WMS to meet specific client needs (warehouse layout, inventory rules, order workflows).
  • Plan and oversee the implementation of new warehouse technologies and systems.
  • Provide training to warehouse staff on new WMS and related processes.
Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement warehouse safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 12-15 years of experience in warehouse planning and logistics.
  • Proven experience in optimizing warehouse layouts and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse technologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of lean warehousing principles.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Understanding of material handling equipment.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse logistics, order fulfillment, and distribution processes.
Preferred:
  • Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CLTD).
  • Experience with automated warehouse systems (e.g., AS/RS, AGVs).
