Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Software Trainers to support our federal client, in training end users on a variety of software applications. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in training methodologies, instructional design, and hands-on delivery of technical training for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs for a variety of software applications used within.
  • Conduct live, virtual, and hybrid training sessions for end users at different technical levels.
  • Create training materials, including user guides, manuals, presentations, and online tutorials.
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations and real-world scenarios to enhance learning effectiveness.
  • Assess training effectiveness through surveys, feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, business users, and stakeholders to tailor training to NIH s needs.
  • Assist in troubleshooting user issues related to software applications.
  • Stay up to date with the latest software updates, federal compliance requirements, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in software training, instructional design, or IT consulting.
  • Strong expertise in training on enterprise applications, databases, reporting tools, and collaboration platforms.
  • Experience in developing interactive training modules and e-learning solutions.
  • Familiarity with federal IT environments and security policies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using training platforms, LMS tools, and remote training software.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (onsite at Rockville, MD, and remote as needed).
