Job Title: Director of Engineering (Manufacturing)
Location: Gunnison, Utah (Relocation required)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Director of Engineering (Manufacturing) to join our growing organization in Gunnison, Utah. The candidate should have 10+ years of experience building high-performing Manufacturing Engineering teams, applying strong Program Management skills, and executing hands-on engineering solutions when needed. As a leader, the individual must drive innovation, improve efficiency, and collaborate across teams to ensure operational success.

Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and manage a Manufacturing Engineering team to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with business goals for manufacturing process efficiency.
Recruit engineering talent and promote professional development to grow the team.
Manage cross-functional programs, ensuring they meet timelines and budgets while minimizing risks.
Provide hands-on engineering support for critical projects and process optimizations.
Implement best practices to enhance production workflows and improve product quality.
Integrate cutting-edge manufacturing technologies to boost operational effectiveness.
Collaborate with design, operations, supply chain, and quality teams for seamless development.
Manage department budgets, resource planning, and capital projects.
Ensure engineering compliance with company policies, regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing preferred; Master's preferred).
Over 10 years of experience building and leading engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
Strong Program Management skills in handling complex multi-stakeholder projects.
Able to balance leadership with hands-on engineering problem-solving.
Expertise in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and advanced manufacturing systems.
Proven innovation and efficiency achievements within manufacturing.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
Willingness to relocate to Gunnison, Utah and work onsite.
