What You’ll Do

  • Oversee Parts Procurement & Inventory – Manage spare parts, MRO supplies, and equipment to ensure smooth operations
  • Vendor & Supplier Management – Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and drive cost savings
  • Support Maintenance & Engineering – Ensure availability of critical parts for preventive & corrective maintenance
  • ERP & Inventory Optimization – Utilize Syspro ERP (or similar) to track inventory, forecast demand, and prevent shortages
  • Drive Cost Control & Process Improvements – Implement lean procurement strategies to maximize efficiency

What You Bring to the Table

5+ years of procurement & inventory management experience in pulp & paper, industrial manufacturing, or a related heavy industry

Deep knowledge of industrial spare parts, including pumps, valves, motors, boilers, conveyors, and process equipment

Strong ERP experience (Syspro, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar)

Hands-on approach – You know how to work in the trenches, problem-solve, and drive continuous improvement

Strong negotiation & supplier management skills – You know how to secure quality, cost-effective parts with the best lead times

Familiarity with safety & compliance regulations in industrial procurement
