Adjunct Faculty
The Faculty Member for the MBA program at Metis College is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, engaging in scholarly activities, and contributing to the academic community.
This role involves teaching MBA courses, providing academic support to students, and participating in curriculum development and program evaluation.
Responsibilities
Instruction:
- Develop and deliver engaging online courses in the MBA program, including lectures, assignments, and assessments.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and technologies to enhance the learning experience for students.
Academic Support:
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on student assignments and projects.
- Offer academic guidance and support to students, including office hours and one-on-one consultations.
Curriculum Development:
- Contribute to the development and revision of MBA course content and curriculum.
- Stay current with industry trends and academic research to ensure course materials are relevant and up-to-date.
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Design and administer assessments to measure student learning and progress.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to help them achieve academic success.
Research and Scholarship:
- Engage in scholarly research and publish findings in academic journals or present at conferences.
- Participate in professional development activities and contribute to the academic community.
Program Contribution:
- Participate in program committees and meetings to contribute to the continuous improvement of the MBA program.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance program quality and student outcomes.
Student Engagement:
- Foster a supportive and inclusive online learning environment.
- Encourage student participation and engagement through interactive learning activities and discussions.
Administrative Duties:
- Complete required administrative tasks, including grading, attendance tracking, and course documentation.
- Adhere to institutional policies and procedures related to online teaching and academic standards.

- Subject Matter Knowledge: Deep knowledge of MBA-level content and relevant industry practices.

Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a closely related field; Master’s degree with significant professional experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in higher education, preferably in an online format.
- Proven track record of research and scholarly activity.
- Expertise in MBA-level course content and online teaching methodologies.
- Proficiency with learning management systems and online teaching tools.
