The Web Administrator collaborates closely with the IT Web Services team and acts as a liaison between the Communications Division and the IT Web Services team. This position will collaborate with content managers to ensure a smooth transition of web content and functionality. The Web Administrator should have experience with the Drupal content management system (CMS), a strong understanding of web and accessibility standards, and a proven track record of executing complex web designs. Responsibilities include preparing graphics, text, and tables; updating web content and assisting web contributors; determining the size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy; ensuring PDF accessibility; and other related tasks. This position balances technical expertise with effective communication and represents the Communications team in cross-departmental projects. The Web Administrator works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
