Our staffing agency represents a privately-held Patent Prosecution SaaS company that has been operating since 2013 and serves more than 95 law firms, including 7 of the 10 largest patent law firms.
This 40-employee, PE-funded firm, which is growing its workforce by 50% after receiving a significant capital infusion, is seeking Account Executives to sell $40k to $150k ACV deals to two distinct ICPs. You will target companies that file 100+ patent applications per year (think pharma, tech, manufacturing), and patent-focused law firms. This is a work-from-home role, but you must live in a preferred metro area.

Our client is a provider of USPTO patent data analytics software and workflow tools that increase law firm and in-house counsel productivity while reducing error rates.
Its platform delivers ROI to a growing roster of clients in all segments of patent prosecution, including technology, software/AI, semiconductors, chemical engineering, and biology.
Role
* Individual contributor role, working from your home office.
* $70k to $90k+ base, commensurate with previous revenue performance. OTE is $150k to $170k, and the comp plan is uncapped.

We recently closed on a major investment from MBM Capital, and we are deploying these funds to scale our Go-To-Market organization and accelerate the development of our three product lines.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Sales organization as an Account Executive (AE).
Responsibilities:
- Manage prospects from lead to close in an assigned territory.
- Be a trusted advisor who can lead a buyer through the sales process and provide an excellent customer experience.
- Accurately forecast and manage a pipeline effectively.
- Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to communicate the evolving software needs of our prospects.
- Clearly demonstrate our value proposition to key executive decision-makers.
- Generate excitement about our solutions.
- Become an expert in our product and in the patent process.
- Develop strong rapport with prospects to create lasting relationships.
- Perform limited travel to conferences and on-site prospect visits.
- Consistently meet and/or exceed quota.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in B2B SaaS Sales.
- Proven track record of consistent quota attainment.
- Experience working with executive-level contacts in mid-market or enterprise accounts.
- A self-starter who enjoys the fast pace of a high-growth startup environment.
- A critical thinker who has strong attention to detail and is well-organized.
- Experience selling evangelical solutions where there may not be a designated budget.
- Proficient at leading technical presentations.
- Strong ability to learn difficult subject matter and convey it simply to prospects.
- Ability to generate your own pipeline from outbound prospecting and inbound leads.
- Tech savvy with proficiency using platforms such as Salesforce SalesLoft, Excel, PowerPoint, and G-Suite.
- Experience with the patent industry or selling to law firms a plus, but not required.
