Job Summary

As a Product Planning Manager, You will be responsible for conducting customer research and identifying pain points. You will work with sales and engineering teams to help deliver product offerings and solutions. This person is a strong technical and business side communicator, and often acts as a technical bridge to the sales team, and vice versa.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct deep research to understand industry trends and actions, as well as customer wants.
  • Collect user stories and feedback for product offerings, by collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Define a clear product roadmap, prioritizing features based on market and customer needs and guide the product development process.
  • Develop plans for product launches, including marketing strategies, sales activation, and customer onboarding, while preparing sales teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Technology, or a related field
  • 4+ years as a product design engineer, sales engineer, product or project manager, for the machine tool industry (Must Have)
  • prior experience in manufacturing engineering
  • experience working as a technical project manager, and communicating business needs to technical teams.
  • experience working with sales teams to collect user feedback and prep product offerings for launch via marketing strategies and post launch optimization strategies

Compensation And Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $100,000 - $130,000 per year
