Job Title: WMS Technical Consultant Supply Chain, WMS, OMS, Oracle (Retail)
Key Responsibilities:
- System Implementation and Configuration:
- Configure and implement WMS (e.g., Manhattan WMOS or Oracle WMS) and OMS solutions to enhance retail supply chain operations.
- Customize workflows to support retail operations such as omnichannel fulfillment, inventory tracking, and returns management.
- System Integration:
- Seamlessly integrate WMS and OMS with Oracle ERP systems (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Retail), e-commerce platforms, and POS systems.
- Develop and execute middleware solutions for smooth data flow between supply chain systems.
- Optimization of Retail Operations:
- Analyze retail warehouse processes and identify areas for improvement, including slotting strategies, picking efficiency, and inventory optimization.
- Implement solutions to manage high-volume transactions during peak seasons and promotional sales.
- Technical Development and Troubleshooting:
- Use Oracle PL/SQL to create and optimize database queries, triggers, and stored procedures.
- Perform technical troubleshooting and resolve WMS/OMS-related issues.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Develop real-time dashboards to track retail KPIs such as order fulfillment accuracy, shipping times, and stock levels.
- Generate reports to aid in decision-making for inventory management and demand planning.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and store teams, to align system functionality with business goals.
- Provide training to end-users and ongoing technical support post-implementation.
Required Skills:
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of WMS (Manhattan WMOS, Oracle WMS) and OMS systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and experience with database optimization.
- Familiarity with retail ERP systems and integration frameworks (e.g., Oracle Retail, SAP).
- Retail Expertise:
- Strong understanding of the retail supply chain, including inventory turnover, demand forecasting, and returns management.
- Experience with omnichannel retail strategies and customer-centric operations.
- Problem-Solving and Optimization:
- Ability to analyze complex processes and propose automation and efficiency-driven solutions.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
