Description

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Analyst to join a local Des Moines company on a long-term contract basis. The ideal candidate will be adept at supporting both hardware and software issues, with strong expertise in SCCM, Intune, and remote support tools like Bomgar. This role requires a proactive professional who can manage deployments, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver high-quality end-user support across Apple and Windows environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, including both Windows and Apple (iPads, iPhones, MacBooks) platforms.

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues; perform break/fix support and machine deployments.

Utilize SCCM to:
  • Reimage machines and push out updates.
  • Deploy OS images, software updates, and applications.
  • Monitor logs, resolve deployment/configuration issues.
  • Manage site servers, distribution points, and co-managed environments (Intune integration).

Manage Intune for MDM:
  • Design, deploy, and manage mobile/endpoint device configurations.
  • Troubleshoot compliance policies, app deployments, and device issues.
  • Generate detailed reports on compliance, usage, and activity.

Use Bomgar (or similar tools) for remote troubleshooting and support.

Work within ServiceNow or other ticketing systems to track, document, and resolve incidents in a timely manner.

Maintain accurate inventory reporting using SCCM and ensure device lifecycle management.

Collaborate with IT teams to assist in migrations and hybrid environment support.

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in a hands-on Desktop Support role.
  • Proficient with SCCM, including deployment, patching, and reporting.
  • Experience with Intune for mobile and endpoint management.
  • Familiarity with Bomgar or similar remote access tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Apple and Windows OS environments, including O365.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or comparable ITSM platforms.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and endpoint security.
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
