Our client is a financial services firm. They seek an Administrative Assistant, Compliance to join their Manhattan, NY office. A successful candidate will have expert network process experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide backup support to a team of Compliance professionals
- Handle calendar management and meeting coordination
- Manage all expenses ensuring monthly submission and reconciliation
- Coordinate travel arrangements including itineraries, transportation, etc.
- Handle last minute requests, sometimes outside business hours
- Ensure new hires are onboarded properly from a compliance perspective
- Transfer data from the forms and escalate items of note for follow-up
- Complete follow-ups to finish new hire documentation by deadline
- Contact management when IT questionnaires require additional information
- Oversee communications, including emailing and posting on Sharepoint
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 2-4 years of compliance experience
- Financial services industry background preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to handle time-sensitive and confidential information
- Able to multitask with a strong attention to detail
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
