Our client is a financial services firm. They seek an Administrative Assistant, Compliance to join their Manhattan, NY office. A successful candidate will have expert network process experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide backup support to a team of Compliance professionals
  • Handle calendar management and meeting coordination
  • Manage all expenses ensuring monthly submission and reconciliation
  • Coordinate travel arrangements including itineraries, transportation, etc.
  • Handle last minute requests, sometimes outside business hours
  • Ensure new hires are onboarded properly from a compliance perspective
  • Transfer data from the forms and escalate items of note for follow-up
  • Complete follow-ups to finish new hire documentation by deadline
  • Contact management when IT questionnaires require additional information
  • Oversee communications, including emailing and posting on Sharepoint

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 2-4 years of compliance experience
  • Financial services industry background preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to handle time-sensitive and confidential information
  • Able to multitask with a strong attention to detail
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
