General Summary:

The Corporate Flight Coordinator manages the approval and execution of trip

requests. Maintains and communicates the flight schedule to the assigned pilots, and

coordinates with the Corporate Fight Operations Chief Pilot to secure required

flight crew resources. Manages cost accounting for completed flight request. Ensures aircraft and flight crew are ready for the planned mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to Manager of Flight Coordination, Corporate Flight Coordinator is responsible for Corporate Flight aircraft and flight crew scheduling, logistical planning, and overall trip readiness. Ensures operations are conducted to the highest safety and operational standards in accordance with all applicable regulations, company policies and Safety Management System.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Active participant in Honda Aircraft Company’s Safety Management System.
  • Responsible for coordination of all activities required to enable the safe, on time departure of corporate aircraft.
  • Establish and maintain clear communication with clients throughout their travel experience, providing updates on flight status, itinerary changes, and any other relevant information to ensure a positive experience.
  • Ensure Aircraft Airworthiness at all times.
  • Coordinate aircraft availability regarding maintenance events with Corporate Flight Maintenance.
  • Act as primary link between customer and the flight and ground crew. Responsible for load planning relating to passengers, baggage, and fuel.
  • Communicate departure/arrival times to department personnel and ground crew.
  • Responsible for Corporate aircraft and flight crew schedules.
  • Coordinate trip logistics for flight-crews and passengers to include: catering, lodging accommodations, ground transportation, and other special requests.
  • Coordinate aircraft ground handling and fuel purchase options with fixed based operators.
  • Ensure readiness of aircraft including cleanliness.
  • Provide trip estimates to both internal and external customers.
  • Monitor and assist with budget oversight for corporate operations.
  • Adhere to FAA regulations and company policies and procedures.

Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:

  • Minimum 5 years aviation experience.
  • Business Aviation Finance/Accounting experience desired.
  • FAA Dispatch license, A&P license, and/or Pilot license desired.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments and organizations.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • Detail-Oriented and Organized: Possess excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple flights and clients simultaneously.
  • Professional Communication: Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills, as you will interact with a diverse range of individuals within and outside the organization.

Physical Requirements:

  • Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.
  • Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, climb ladders, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
  • Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).
