Senior Director, Content Strategy and Execution

Role Overview:

BGB Group is seeking an experienced Senior Director, Content Strategy and Execution to lead the development, implementation, and management of modular content frameworks for our clients. This role will bridge modular content strategy, process development, and technology enablement to support life science brands in achieving greater content efficiency, personalization, and compliance.

As the BGB expert in modular content, you will provide strategic guidance to both internal BGB teams and external pharma clients, ensuring the successful adoption and execution of modular content practices. You will also help define best practices, optimize workflows, and contribute to staffing strategies for modular content development at BGB.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Strategy & Enablement

  • Advise clients on best practices for modular content strategy, governance, and implementation.
  • Guide clients on the integration of platforms like eWizard, Activator, Veeva Vault PromoMats and other technology critical in a Modular Content framework
  • Ensure seamless execution and regulatory compliance
  • Provide thought leadership on how modular content can drive efficiency, increase personalization, and accelerate speed-to-market.
  • Lead training and onboarding for client teams, helping them effectively utilize modular content workflows and automation
  • Work directly with client teams and their Content Librarians to manage modular content libraries

Framework Development & Process Optimization

  • Define and implement scalable modular content frameworks that align with industry standards and client needs
  • Establish best practices for content creation, modularization, approval workflows, and content reuse across multiple brands
  • Optimize modular content workflows within industry standard tools to streamline development and regulatory approvals
  • Collaborate with client review teams to ensure modular content processes align with legal requirements

Internal Expertise & Team Development

  • Provide strategic guidance to BGB leadership on how to staff for modular content development, ensuring the right mix of talent to support content strategy, technology, and execution
  • Act as the internal SME (Subject Matter Expert) for modular content, helping educate and upskill BGB teams on best practices and emerging trends
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, strategy, and technology) to optimize modular content workflows and automation
  • Partner with tech vendors and internal IT teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of modular content tools

Technology & Innovation

  • Drive the evolution of BGB’s modular content capabilities, identifying opportunities for automation, AI-driven workflows, and content personalization
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring BGB remains at the forefront of modular content innovation in the pharma space

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Extensive experience in modular content strategy, technology implementation, and process optimization
  • Deep understanding of Material Authoring platforms such as eWizard and/or Activator, as well as digital asset management systems like Veeva Vault Promomats, and/or other technology used in a modular content framework
  • Proven ability to advise pharmaceutical clients on modular content best practices and workflow efficiency
  • Strong background in training, onboarding, and enablement for both clients and internal teams
  • Experience defining scalable content frameworks that balance efficiency, compliance, and creative flexibility
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, regulatory, technology, and strategy) to drive modular content success
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and advocate for process improvements
