Manufacturing Operations Analyst
HumCap's client in the aerospace manufacturing business is searching for a Manufacturing Operations Analyst to join their team. You will support the successful implementation of Oracle NetSuite and oversee post-implementation supply chain and inventory operations. In this hybrid role, you will play a critical role in providing interim planning and procurement support for our global manufacturing sites.
This role will support a successful rollout of the ERP transition while optimizing materials planning, purchasing processes, and customer order fulfillment. This role will be based at our Addison, Texas headquarters and support our global operations. This role reports to the Vice President of Operations. Oracle NetSuite or significant ERP implementation experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oracle NetSuite Implementation Support:
- Act as a key liaison between the ERP consultancy firm, end users, and leadership to facilitate a smooth implementation process.
- Provide hands-on support to individual users in purchasing, planning, and supply chain functions to ensure they understand and adopt the new system.
- Collaborate with the ERP consultancy to address user concerns, troubleshoot issues, and support process documentation and training materials.
- Participate in testing, data validation, and user feedback sessions to ensure successful system adoption.
2. Post-Implementation Operations:
- Oversee purchasing, planning, and supply chain operations using Oracle NetSuite to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business goals.
- Streamline workflows and processes to improve inventory management, procurement efficiency, and production planning.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success.
3. Buying & Planning Support:
- Provide hands-on support for purchasing and planning functions for the Alto Aviation business unit.
- Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to address supply chain challenges and stabilize operations.
- Identify and implement short-term solutions to improve inventory and procurement efficiency during the transition.
4. User Training & Support:
- Act as the primary resource for supporting and mentoring purchasing, planning, and supply chain teams during and after the ERP implementation.
- Deliver training sessions, create user-friendly documentation, and ensure teams feel confident using the new system.
- Serve as a go-to resource for addressing user questions and system-related challenges.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to enhance purchasing, planning, and supply chain processes through the effective use of Oracle NetSuite.
- Partner with operations and leadership teams to implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
- Support changing management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in manufacturing operations, purchasing, planning, and/or supply chain management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with Oracle NetSuite preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a user-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across functions and with all levels of the organization.
• Experience supporting team members through system transitions or implementations is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience working in a turnaround or fast-paced operational environment.
• Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing or similar industries.
