Primary Responsibilities:

• Design of mechanical, plumbing, and related systems for commercial and residential buildings.

• Work with clients and team members to understand and develop project requirements and implementation.

• Develop construction drawings and documentation in Revit.

• Prepare specification sections for project manuals.

• Perform calculations such as: pipe sizing, pressure drop, thermal load calculations, duct sizing, etc.

• Coordinate equipment selections with equipment vendors and manufacturers.

• Coordinate system components with project architect and other team members.

• Coordinate spatial requirements for mechanical & plumbing systems.

• Perform construction administration services on assigned projects such as review of shop drawings and submittals, respond to RFI's

• Visit Construction project sites and prepare observation reports and punch lists.

• Coordinate utility services sizes and locations with various utility representatives.

• Ensure that the company technical policies and procedures are practiced during the execution of team projects.

• Attend project design/construction meetings as needed.

• Assist in the development of conceptual presentations to clients.

• Assist supporting personnel on assigned projects.

• Collaborate with and be responsible to the team.

• Complete Timecards

The successful candidate should possess the following:

• Experience with designing and documenting building systems.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Revit experience is preferred.

• PE registration not required

• Microsoft Office experience.

• Bachelor's Degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering or other engineering/construction discipline preferred
