Construction Project Manager - Interiors

Bognet Construction is seeking a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager with at least 5 years of commercial building experience. The Senior Project Manager will have overall construction responsibilities for a ground-up stick-frame multifamily projects in surrounding VA,DC,MD area valued up to $40MM. The Senior PM will have a strong track record of completing Multifamily projects ensuring their successful delivery within schedule and budget along with the ability to manage vendors, subcontractors, and field staff throughout the project duration.
SELECT RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on-time, within budget, and constructed with superior quality and safety
- Reviews project proposals, drawings, and plans to determine timeframe, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
- Develops and maintains relationships with clients, subcontractors and related vendors.
- Completes materials “take-offs”, establishes scope of works, develops and tracks material procurement schedule
- Confers with project staff to outline work plans, assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority; coordinates activities with project staff to ensure project progress within prescribed budget and provides technical advice to resolve problems
- Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
- Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and other associates while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Five (5) to Ten (10) years of experience, specifically on high-end commercial interior construction projects is preferred.
- Exceptional knowledge of construction processes and procedures; ability to successfully manage complex projects through to completion
- Advanced verbal & written communication skills, ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suites, Procore, Bluebeam, and other similar construction software.
