Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Human Resources leader to be the sole HR professional for our growing organization. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, compliance, and company culture initiatives. As the sole HR representative, you will play a critical role in shaping the overall HR strategy and maintaining a positive and productive work environment for all team members.

Qualifications and Competencies:

· Talent Acquisition & Onboarding (20%)

o Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring employees across all levels of the organization.

o Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are effectively integrated and trained in company culture and procedures.

o Negotiate employment agreements and manage employment offers and contracts.

· Employee Offboarding & Exit Interviews (5%)

o Conduct exit interviews and manage the offboarding process for departing employees, ensuring all required documentation and procedures are followed.

· Payroll and Compensation (10%)

o Handle timekeeping, payroll deductions, and any wage adjustments or compensation changes.

o Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and address any payroll-related employee inquiries.

o Develop and manage compensation strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market trends.

· People and Culture Initiatives (10%)

o Spearhead initiatives to foster a positive, engaging company culture, improving employee morale and retention.

o Lead the FUN committee and organize regular team-building activities and events.

· Employee Benefits and Health Insurance (10%)

o Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance negotiations, enrollment, and ongoing vendor relationships.

o Handle requests for PTO, LOA, and ADA accommodations, ensuring adherence to policies and legal requirements.

· HR Policy Development & Compliance (10%)

o Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures that support the organization’s goals while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

o Oversee all required background checks, drug screenings, and E-Verify compliance for new hires.

· Employee Relations (10%)

o Act as the primary point-of-contact for employees regarding HR issues, concerns, and inquiries.

o Resolve conflicts and address grievances effectively, ensuring a fair and positive work environment – knowing when to work with our employment attorney

· HRIS Management & Technology (15%)

o Manage the company’s HRIS system, ensuring employee data is accurately tracked and reported.

o Leverage HR technologies to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.

· Strategic Planning & Department Growth (10%)

o Assist in developing long-term HR strategies that align with company growth and organizational goals.

o Ensure that HR practices evolve to meet the changing needs of the company as it expands.

· Communication

o Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

· Analytical and Critical Thinking

o Sound decision-making abilities, using critical thinking to resolve complex HR issues and improve processes.

· Strong working knowledge of HR laws and regulations, especially in a healthcare setting (if applicable).

Tools and Equipment Used:

· Comfortable using AI tools.
