Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in both on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation on database processes, cloud migration strategies, and coding standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6+ years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer working with Oracle databases.
  • Strong proficiency in complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages.
  • Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and database indexing.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, normalization, and database design principles.
  • Hands-on experience in database migration to cloud environments (Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
  • Proficiency with Oracle tools like SQL*Loader, Data Pump, and Oracle SQL Developer.
  • In-depth understanding of database security, roles, privileges, and access control.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within teams.
  • 3+ years of experience with technologies like:
  • .NET, Oracle Forms/Reports, Crystal Reports, or similar reporting tools.
  • JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Web Services, MS Visual Studio, Toad, APEX.
  • XML, JSON for data exchange.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle 12c/19c and advanced database features.
  • Exposure to cloud-based databases and migration tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, Perl) for automation purposes.
  • Knowledge of Oracle APEX for front-end application development.
  • Oracle certification is a plus.
