The position is based on-site in Colorado Springs, CO.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, plan, coordinate, execute testing and provide terminal operations support on the Family of Beyond Line-of-Sight Terminals (FAB-T), Mission Planning Subsystem (MPSS), Air Force Command Post Terminal (AFCPT), Time Distribution Subsystem Pre-Processor (TDSPP), Milstar Messaging System (MMS), Global Broadcast Service (GBS), Ground Multi-band Terminal (GMT), various other systems, subsystems and MILSATCOM devices
  • Provide engineering and technician-level support for each of the above systems, including integration, communication circuit troubleshooting, and system-level anomaly resolution.
  • Identify and isolate software or hardware defects to evaluate/assess system modifications for shortfalls or interoperability issues and provide technical assessments to the client with regards to the modifications ?
  • Author and deliver technical documentation including test plans, test procedures, system configuration diagrams, engineering studies, technical white papers, and test reports.
  • Travel: approximately 10%


Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • 10+ years of experience working with military or DoD civilian clients and managing professional relationships
  • 10+ years of experience with test processes and documentation
  • 4+ years of experience with MPSS, equipment, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of DoD mission system sustainment
  • Must be a motivated, self-starter capable of autonomous on-the-job learning/improvement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills
  • You must be authorized to work in the US and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance for this position.


Desired
  • International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification or higher
  • Project Management Institute (PMI), Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Demonstrated ability to produce technical Statements of Work (SOW), Bill of Materials ?
  • Operational Test experience supporting a DoD Operational Test Agency or Organization Specific experience operating or maintaining the following: MPSS, FAB-T, AFCPT, TDSPP, MMS, GMT, GBS Receive Suites, cryptographic equipment (e.g., KIV-7M, ANDVT, KGV-11, KG250), or related infrastructure and/or support equip
