Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Advisor Experience to lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive advisor journey at our Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm. This key leadership role is designed to build a thriving, growth-oriented community where advisors feel supported, empowered, and motivated to achieve exceptional results. You will be responsible for driving organic growth, maximizing advisor productivity and profitability, and ensuring that advisors not only experience a seamless journey on our platform but exceed their business goals, providing a superior experience for their teams and clients.
The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record in advisor relationship management, business development, and driving advisor satisfaction. You will be a key part of our mission to build a vibrant advisor community, foster collaboration, and support both personal and professional growth for advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build and Foster an Advisor Community:
- Develop, implement, and manage a robust advisor community program, creating opportunities for peer sharing, networking, and collaboration.
- Design and execute advisor events, workshops, and quarterly/annual meetings, fostering a sense of community and building a network of trusted peers.
- Lead the planning and execution of an annual advisor conference, providing valuable content, best practices, and industry insights.
- Cultivate a strong advisor network that thrives on mutual support, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
2. Drive Organic Growth and Business Development:
- Collaborate with advisors to develop tailored growth strategies, with a focus on driving sustainable year-over-year growth (targeting 10-15% annual growth).
- Support advisors in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, expanding their client base, and scaling their practices.
- Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure the firm’s platform and offerings meet the evolving needs of advisors.
3. Provide Ongoing Training, Reporting, and Communication:
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive, ongoing training program that helps advisors deepen their expertise, increase productivity, and utilize the firm’s resources effectively.
- Create regular reporting and performance tracking systems that measure advisor growth, profitability, and key business metrics, ensuring advisors have access to the insights they need to succeed.
- Foster a continuous learning culture by implementing quarterly check-ins, feedback sessions, and tailored development plans for advisors.
4. Acclimate and Integrate New Advisors:
- Lead the acclimation process for new advisors, once the team has moved through our transition process, ensuring they have a seamless evolution onto the platform and feel confident using the resources available to them.
- Guide new advisors in the early stages of their journey, setting them up for success with clear goals, personalized support, and access to best practices.
- Ensure new advisors have the tools, training, and mentorship they need to integrate quickly and begin building their businesses effectively.
5. Support Advisors in Achieving Profitability and Growth Goals:
- Work one-on-one with advisors to understand their unique goals and challenges, offering tailored guidance and resources to support them in achieving their financial and growth targets.
- Leverage the firm’s tools and data to provide actionable insights that help advisors optimize their operations, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance their profitability.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing regular communication, feedback, and personalized solutions that drive advisor satisfaction, retention, and long-term success.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in financial services, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role focused on advisor experience or advisor growth.
- Proven track record of driving advisor growth and satisfaction, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the RIA industry.
- Strong business acumen with experience in developing and implementing strategies to support advisor productivity, profitability, and overall success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence, and lead across multiple levels of the organization.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for supporting others in achieving their goals.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with RIA platforms, tools, and technologies, with an understanding of how they support advisor growth.
- Background in business development, growth strategy, or financial planning.
