Data Governance and Project Management
Title: Data Governance and Project Management Location: NYC, NY (Onsite) Position: Contract
Skills:
Familiarity with data governance concepts of cataloging, ownership, lineage, and data quality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to understand technical solutions and apply them in similar situations
While not a coding position, the candidate needs to be able to work at an API and configuration level
Experience working with global teams in multiple locations
Ability to express complex ideas and deliverables in a simple
Job Responsibilities:
Efficiently deliver the Risk & Finance Data Quality Acceleration program.
Effectively bridging the gaps between policy, central tooling, program governance, and delivery.
Work directly with development teams to educate them on intended outcomes and available tooling.
Troubleshoot roadblocks encountered by development teams.
Understand Data Policy and responsibilities and commitments within the Application Development organization.
Understand Data Architecture & Management principles and well as the requirements of the BCBS 239 framework.
Participate in outcome-oriented metrics.
Partner with Firmwide Data Office to enhance strategic tooling for Cataloging & Lineage.
Willingness to work beyond these responsibilities for general assistance to the program.
