Luna Data Solutions has an immediate contract position opening (12 months+) for a Sr. ServiceNow Architect/Developer resource with our public sector industry client located in Austin, TX. *This resource will work onsite TWO day/week; however, this resource should be prepared to possibly work onsite 5 days/week at some point, however, there is no official notice yet.

All candidates must be able to work on a W2 basis; no C2C is allowed.

Role:
Sr. ServiceNow Architect/Developer

Role Description:

As a ServiceNow Senior Architect/Developer, you will be responsible for implementation, development, core configuration, administration, maintenance, support, and technical expertise of Major Incident Management application and MS Teams integration. You have a purposeful mindset and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
Key Activities/Responsibilities:

  • Implement Major Incident Management (MIM) and MIM processes in client s instances of ServiceNow.
  • Core platform configuration and enhancements to ITSM and other related applications to MIM processes.
  • Analysis of documented business current and to-be and creating the most efficient technical design.
  • Improvements to MIM notifications, including but not limited to consolidation, creating templates, creating schedules, and changing content.
  • Implement MS Teams integration for conference bridge and channel creation. Limit Teams integration to MIM.
  • Create and configure playbooks for MIM team and other teams involved in the MIM processes.
  • Experience building custom applications with workflows, automation, record producers, roles, notifications, and other standards.
  • Create workspaces, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Create service levels for MIM processes such as response, communications, and resolution.
  • Automate tasks on the ServiceNow platform using scripts, workflows, integrations, flows, or other standard methods.
  • Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems (REST, orchestration, and other relevant methodologies).
  • Build out modules, customizations, and configurations based on customer requirements.
  • Provide alternatives to customizations by exploring out-of-the-box capabilities and configuration.
  • Work collaboratively with the existing client ServiceNow Technical team to provide the transition of day-to-day support and maintenance of the application to client.
  • A current and resides in the United States.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Cert: Certified ServiceNow Application Developer
  • 5+ years: Development and Administration in ServiceNow ITSM, Service Catalog, Major Incident Management
  • 8+ years: JavaScript, Jelly Scripting, Glide, HTML, XML, and/or JSON
  • 8+ years: Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to gather, understand, organize, and interpret relevant data & information
  • 8+ years: Experience designing to requirements
  • 5+ years: Familiar with Service-Oriented Architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, REST)
  • Cert: Certified System Administrator for ServiceNow
  • 5+ years: Development and Administration in ServiceNow
  • 1+ years: Experience implementing Source to Pay Operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years: Certified System Administrator for ServiceNow
  • 4+ years: Certified ServiceNow Application Developer
