Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Network and Hardware Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This hands-on role involves the administration (installation, configuration, and maintenance) of network and hardware infrastructure. The position requires on-site presence five days a week and the ability to flexibly handle both software and hardware administration, ensuring seamless operations and high performance. The ideal candidate will work with diverse technologies and vendors to maintain a robust and efficient network environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network and hardware infrastructure.
- Administer both software and hardware environments, transitioning between tasks as required.
- Introduce new equipment to the network and ensure proper integration.
- Perform routing and switching tasks to optimize network performance.
- Design and support data center architectures.
- Configure and manage SDWAN, WAN Accelerators, and wireless technologies.
- Work with vendor equipment such as Cisco, Arista, Aruba switches, Silverpeak SDWAN, Riverbed WAN Accelerators, and Aruba wireless solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot hardware and network issues to maintain uptime.
- Collaborate with the team to document processes and update configurations as needed.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Proven experience in managing network and hardware infrastructure environments.
- Hands-on experience with routing, switching, and data center architectures.
- Familiarity with SDWAN technologies and WAN accelerators.
- Experience working with vendors such as Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Silverpeak, and Riverbed.
- Strong problem-solving skills for hardware and network troubleshooting.
Nice-to-Have:
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE (or equivalent).
- Familiarity with network integration and ground-up deployment.
- Understanding of data center equipment installation and wireless solutions.
