Position Summary

The IT Business Analyst will play a key role in advancing PROENERGY’s IT vision by coordinating the integration and implementation of software systems that align with business objectives. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders, development teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of platforms, optimized workflows, and efficient software lifecycle management.

Position Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and manage system integrations across proprietary and third-party platforms, ensuring data flow and functionality align with business needs.
  • Oversee and execute software implementations, including planning, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather, analyze, and document system requirements, translating them into actionable development tasks.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to software development processes, leveraging Azure DevOps for backlog and SDLC management.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, coordinating implementations, upgrades, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, integration diagrams, and training materials to support knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Assist with the triage and prioritization of production support tickets helping the development team maintain an appropriate balance of tactical and strategic work.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years in systems integration, software implementation, or related IT roles.
  • Knowledge of APIs, web services, and data exchange formats (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML); experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • 3+ years Agile methodologies and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience setting up and managing Azure DevOps backlogs, boards, and workflows.
  • Strong business analysis skills, with experience in process mapping and requirement documentation.
  • Proficiency in stakeholder management and facilitating cross-department collaboration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Ability to visualize data for executive presentations on complex issues.
  • Knowledge of project management frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and system configurations.
  • Experience with change management and software release processes.
  • Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools to track project progress and system performance.
