Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance (QA):
- Develop and implement software testing processes, standards, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Lead and mentor the QA team, fostering professional growth and optimizing team performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, enforce, and maintain quality standards.
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (both manual and automated).
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and tools to enhance efficiency.
- Analyze test results, track defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage outsourced QA teams, ensuring alignment with internal quality and security standards.
- Conduct security testing, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and secure code analysis.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, continuously evaluating and adopting new testing methodologies.
DevOps:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to optimize software development and deployment processes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security, implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment strategies and automation processes.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.
- Establish and enforce security best practices within the DevOps pipeline to protect systems and data.
- Lead incident response and disaster recovery strategies to minimize downtime and prevent data loss.
- Continuously adopt new DevOps tools and methodologies to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
- Lead and mentor the DevOps team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software QA or development (or 11+ years without a degree), with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, including CI/CD pipeline implementation and cloud infrastructure management.
- Strong experience in software testing web applications, mobile apps, and APIs.
- Proven experience managing outsourced engineering teams and overseeing vendor performance.
- Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.
