Controller
We’re looking for a hands-on, strategic Controller to lead the financial operations at EST03. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll ensure accurate financial reporting, uphold strong internal controls, and help shape the company’s financial strategy as we continue to grow. You’ll work closely with leadership to drive operational efficiency and profitability, while also ensuring we stay compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Accounting Management: Oversees all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, 401k administration and general ledger functions while coordinating with public accounting partners / external auditors (as needed).
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the annual budget and financial forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations.
- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures to minimize risk.
- Cash Management: Oversee cash flow planning / forecasting / collections and ensure availability of funds as needed while coordinating with financial institutions.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations, including overseeing the preparation and filing of tax returns while coordinating with tax advisors.
- Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounting team, oversee training programs and identifies training needs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Experience: +7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in advertising, manufacturing, fleet service or a related industry (private equity experience preferred).
- Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (NetSuite experience highly preferred), and exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
- Attributes: Ability to work in a fast-paced / dynamic environment, high level of integrity, attention to detail, demonstrates confidentiality / discretion / judgement, and provides a high level of customer service to internal and external clients.
