QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role requires proven experience in Selenium, JavaScript, and Java. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, able to handle multiple priorities. You will be responsible for developing, and executing automation tests, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the highest quality in our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Java, and JavaScript to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Implement, and execute automated test frameworks to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and define test scenarios.
  • Troubleshoot and debug test failures, providing detailed analysis and recommendations for improvements.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the test automation framework for scalability and performance.
  • Create and maintain test data, reporting tools, and dashboards for test results and defects.
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of performance and stress tests as needed.
  • Ensure quality assurance best practices are followed and assist in creating test plans, test cases, and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and JavaScript automation scripting.
  • Proven experience with Selenium automated test frameworks and tools such as JUnit, TestNG, etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, GitLab).
  • Ability to write and maintain reusable codes and scripts.
  • Experience with test reporting and defect tracking tools like JIRA, or similar.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and clearly articulate technical concepts.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Playwright is a plus.
  • Experience in a cloud environment.
