Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes
- Collaborate with finance and business teams to gather relevant data and insights
- Create dashboards and reports to visualize financial data for decision-making
- Perform variance analysis to compare actual results with forecasts and budgets
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular data audits and validations
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Support the automation of data collection and reporting processes
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial data analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
- Experience working with NetSuite ERP modules, particularly financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proficiency in business intelligence and data visualization tools like NetSuite Analytics Warehouse or Power BI
- Proficiency in SQL, with a preference for experience using SQL within the NetSuite environment
- Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly
- Knowledge of statistical methods and data modeling
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
