Trustpoint.One is pleased to partner with a collegial trial attorney to assist him on a part-time, as-needed basis, primarily with legal dictation and transcription. The ideal candidate will have experience in a law firm setting, who has frequently typed dictation and worked on lengthy briefs and motions.

This is a remote role. Candidate must be authorized to work in and live in the U.S. Hours will vary on a weekly basis (some weeks potentially 10 hours or more, sometimes 5, sometimes none) - flexibility and good communication in a remote setting are key.

Requirements of the Legal Assistant or Paralegal:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal role within a law firm.
  • LITIGATION experience required.
  • Strong experience transcribing dictation efficiently while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to produce an excellent work product.
  • Proficiency in legal drafting with attention to detail in written communication. Experienced in formatting legal documents including briefs.
  • Excellent communication skills, orally and written.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office and Adobe PDFs
  • Additional job duties may develop out of this role including billing and electronic filing - experience in those are desired.
  • The ideal candidate will be on EST or CST zone.

Hourly pay rate, commensurate with experience, ranging from $25 - $37 / hour.
