Reporting directly to the Chief Business Officer (CBO), this is a key leadership role focused on driving the company’s growth, securing strategic partnerships, and building a high-performing business development team.

With recent funding, the company is on track to expand from 50 to 100 employees by the end of 2025. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic, growth-driven leader to make a significant impact in a rapidly evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive revenue and expand market presence
  • Actively identify and secure new B2B partnerships and clients, particularly within the biologics space
  • Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing business development team
  • Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships that support the company’s growth objectives
  • Collaborate with the executive team to ensure business development aligns with broader company goals

What We’re Looking For:

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in business development, with at least 5 years in a senior role (Director or above) within the biotechnology or biologics sectors
  • Proven success in driving new business and securing partnerships, with specific experience in biologics
  • A highly strategic and growth-focused mindset, able to identify and act on new market opportunities
  • Strong commercial experience in B2B sales within biotechnology or life sciences
  • Experience in hiring, building, and leading high-performing teams
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to execute growth strategies effectively
  • Experience managing remote teams across multiple locations
